Christine Kerian is an experienced mediation lawyer in Southern California.
As principal of Harmony Family Law Mediation Group with over 15 years experience exclusively in family law matters, Christine has great knowledge on how to handle and resolve complex family disputes without going to court.
She understands the level of patience and cooperation required to help individuals bring harmony and balance back into their lives without having to go to court and exhausting their resources.
Christine also currently volunteers for the Los Angeles Superior Court Alternative Dispute Resolution Department and serves as a settlement officer.
About Christine Kerian
Christine Kerian earned her law degree in 1997 from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. During law school, she received achievement awards for seminars in Counseling and Negotiation, Family Law, Women and the Law and Legal Malpractice. Christine was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1998.
She was an Attorney at Freid & Goldsman, a prominent Century City family law firm, for over 12 years. She handled all phases of complex family law matters, including marital dissolution actions involving custody, support, valuation and division of significant assets.
Christine was selected by Super Lawyers magazine as Southern California’s “Rising Stars” in Family Law in 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, and 2005.
In 2012, she was selected by Pasadena Magazine as “Top Attorneys in Family Law”.
In May 2008, Christine completed Collaborative Family Interdisciplinary Training from LACFLA, Los Angeles Collaborative Family Law Association. In January 2011, she completed Divorce Mediation Training from Mosten Mediation, an approved continuing education provider by the California State Bar MCLE & Family Law Specialization, the California Psychological Association Accrediting Agency, and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. In 2013, she completed the Collaborative Divorce Streamlined Protocols Training in Phoenix, Arizona.
